The Dusan Vlahovic situation remains unresolved, even though Juventus director Damien Comolli has said that unlocking it requires a deal that also satisfies Juve financially.
In reality, nothing has changed: Juventus is still waiting for someone to come forward with an offer for the Serbian striker, but no one has done so. The option of a mutual contract termination was explored, primarily by the Serbian player himself, but has since lost momentum. Milan is lying in wait because of this, although the player’s salary will still be an obstacle to overcome.
Alfredo Pedullà spoke about the entire situation this morning as a guest on Sportitalia:
"Today, there was an important dialogue between Vlahovic’s entourage and those representing Milan. The Serbian striker has said he wants to wait for Milan, that he wants to give Milan priority: he had already had direct contact with Allegri. We’ve always said that August will be the key month to understand how things unfold, and for now, the player has stuck to his plan, not to accept any unwelcome offers. Since speaking with Allegri, Vlahovic wants to follow this path. The feasibility of the move depends on its financial sustainability. Today, I feel I can say: either he stays at Juve or he goes to Milan. As for the transfer fee, they could meet halfway between 10 and 20 [million], with the addition of bonuses."
