The ex Marseille, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain player came back injured after a blow to his calf. Today he underwent an MRI scan on the left calf issue he sustained with the national team, and the test revealed a lesion to the soleus muscle, as relayed via Milan News.
The player will be re-evaluated in about ten days. The midfielder suffered the injury after a knock but still stayed with the national team and even made the bench against Iceland. There are concerns he could be sidelined for around a month. Allegri will have to cope without his trusted midfielder.
