The Verona forward, Giovane, is surprising everyone and has already become a sought-after name ahead of the January transfer window.
Verona moved quickly for the 21-year-old Brazilian player last summer thanks to another smart move by sporting director Sean Sogliano, who saw the youngster’s potential and brought him to Italy on a free transfer.

Since the start of the season, he has scored one goal and provided three assists in 11 matches, along with several strong performances that have caught the attention of top clubs, as pointed out by Calcio Mercato.
Inter, Milan, and Juventus are all keeping tabs on Giovane, but the most serious interest comes from Borussia Dortmund, a club known for targeting young talents emerging in Italy (Samuele Inacio, son of Pià and standout at the U17 World Cup, is a recent example).
How much does Hellas Verona's Giovane cost?
Since he arrived on a free transfer, Giovane already represents a chance for Verona to make a major profit. Offers could arrive as early as January, but according to 'Corriere dello Sport', bids will need to start at 15-18 million euros to be considered by the club. Aware of the Brazilian’s full potential, Verona might prefer to wait until the end of the season to drive his price even higher.
