Robert Lewandowski has been one of the most talked-about names in recent weeks in relation to AC Milan’s future transfer plans. The Polish striker has not yet renewed his contract with Barcelona, and it is not certain that this will happen before the summer. Regarding this situation, transfer expert Matteo Moretto spoke about it in his latest YouTube video:
"Lewandowski is nearing the end of his contract with Barcelona, with whom he is negotiating a reduced renewal, but there is a very strong chance that these are his final months as a Barça striker. A final decision has not yet been made, but the indications point in that direction."
Moretto continues: "The Polish striker is approaching 38 years of age but continues to score many goals; he remains a player of the highest level, even if in recent months he has played a bit less. Lewandowski has often been linked with Italian clubs, but he also has options in MLS, and in Europe there are several clubs interested in him. As for Milan, as far as I am aware, there is no unanimous agreement within the club’s management regarding Lewandowski’s name. We will see if anything changes, but at present, due to his age, salary, and other factors, he is not at the top of Milan’s list. That said, in football, the transfer market can change everything."
