Head coach Massimiliano Allegri wants an ambitious and competitive squad for next season and, for this reason, has asked his management for six reinforcements: a top midfielder (full speed ahead for Leon Goretzka), two central defenders, a wide player, and above all two forwards.
After the win in Verona, Allegri stated:
"Are we planning the future with the club? Yes, we are planning the future and have been talking for several months. We are analysing the season with great clarity. The victory in Verona gives us a bit more clarity to finish the season well, while bearing in mind that we have not yet reached our objective, and to reflect on what we have done this year."
