After the first leg, the match at San Siro between Milan and Juventus also ended 0–0, with the Rossoneri side settling for an important point in terms of Champions League qualification, while nonetheless continuing a trend that is in some respects worrying.
For the first time in its history, Milan have failed to score against Juventus for three consecutive league seasons. The last player to manage it was Olivier Giroud in the 2022/23 season, in a 0–1 win at the Allianz Stadium which, ironically, handed Stefano Pioli’s then Rossoneri the mathematical qualification for the Champions League against Allegri’s Old Lady.
