Now that he cannot play, the Croatian can focus 100% on what his future will be. Modrić wants a competitive Milan; he has asked Milan for technical guarantees for next year, meaning that Milan will probably play in the Champions League and therefore Modrić wants a Milan that is up to that level. Then, of course, he will also have to make assessments on a personal and private level. The Croatian is still in the evaluation phase. We will see whether Modrić will, so to speak, be satisfied by Milan from the point of view of ambitions.”
