Romelu Lukaku will leave SSC Napoli at the end of this season and is therefore now looking for a new team. According to Tuttosport on newsstands today, the Belgian centre-forward, currently sidelined for several weeks, has offered himself to a number of clubs, including AC Milan, which is still searching for a new striker for next year.

Lukaku's profile between traits and doubts:
In the past, Lukaku has often been linked with the Rossoneri, but in the end his move to Milanello never materialised. At the moment his name is not in the shortlist, but it is clear that discussions are taking place at Casa Milan because the Belgian does have the characteristics that Massimiliano Allegri is looking for in an attack. The biggest uncertainties, however, concern his physical condition, given that this year the Napoli striker has spent more time in the treatment room than on the pitch.
He could perhaps be signed as a “second” attacking addition rather than the marquee signing up front. For now, though, there is nothing concrete because his name is not on Milan’s list. The profiles currently being sought and assessed by the Rossoneri are different: in addition to free agents Robert Lewandowski (who does not convince everyone at the club due to age and costs) and Dušan Vlahović, the preferred options at present are Alexander Sørloth of Atlético Madrid and Gonçalo Ramos of Paris Saint-Germain. Also still in the running are Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea FC, currently on loan at FC Bayern Munich, Mateo Retegui of Al-Qadsiah FC, and Moise Kean of ACF Fiorentina, around whom there are, however, many uncertainties linked to his physical condition.
