Yesterday afternoon, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, the German champions Bayern Munich faced Heidenheim on matchday 32 of the Bundesliga. Kompany opted for a complete rotation, also influenced by the return leg of the Champions League to be played on Wednesday 6 May against PSG. However, this rotation did not fully pay off; in fact, by the half-hour mark of the first half, the visitors were already leading 2–0.
The young Bavarian talents, clearly struggling, relied on Leon Goretzka, who restored parity with a brace in 13 minutes. It is also worth noting that the first goal, which made it 1–2 at the time, came from a direct free kick, with a shot that flew into the top corner while goalkeeper Ramaj stood still. The final score was 3–3 thanks to a goal in the 100th minute by the usual Olise (who came on as a substitute). Leon Goretzka has reportedly been linked with a move to AC Milan.
