The Italian newspaper Tuttosport on newsstands this morning runs the headline:
"Jashari’s flop makes the coach reflect."
Ardon Jashari’s first start after Luka Modrić’s injury went very badly; in fact, the Swiss player was one of the worst on the pitch, given that a goal for Sassuolo to make it 1–0 came from his lost ball. After a period in which he had seen little playing time, there were high expectations for the former Club Brugge player, but he has once again disappointed.
At this point, it remains to be seen what Max Allegri will decide to do ahead of the next league match against Atalanta at San Siro, scheduled for Sunday at 20:45: will the ex Juventus head coach continue to trust Jashari in front of the defence, or will he decide to make a change and give another player, such as Samuele Ricci, a chance from the start in that position?
