Currently the sporting director of Toulouse, another club within the RedBird group, Behzani has stood out for his excellent work in developing and increasing the value of young talent. Under his management, the French club has focused on promising players who were later sold for significant fees. During the last summer transfer window, for example, Behzani completed the sale of Jaydee Canvot to Crystal Palace for €23 million, and he currently has several highly promising young players in the squad, such as goalkeeper Restes and full-back Methalie, both of whom have attracted considerable interest.
His approach and the work he has done in France are highly appreciated by RedBird, which is why Behzani could become a realistic option for AC Milan’s sporting department. However, the club will first need to wait until the end of the season before deciding which direction it intends to take.
