The AC Milan club is going through a major revolution after the dismissals of four key figures: head coach Massimiliano Allegri, CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare and technical director Geoffrey Moncada.
Gerry Cardinale, alongside Zlatan Ibrahimović and Massimo Calvelli, is working to restructure AC Milan. Several names have been linked with joining the new Rossoneri management and filling the vacant head coach position. For the coaching role, Matthias Jaissle has been linked.

The German tactician in question is only 38 years of age who worked previously with RB Salzburg from 2021 to 2023 before moving to Saudi club Al-Ahli. Hiring him, however, will be a difficult mission for the Rossoneri.
Matthias Jaissle is under contract until 2027 and earns a net salary of €12 million per season. If a club attempts to secure his services before the end of his contract (through early termination by either party) the interested club would have to compensate the full value of the remaining contract period. Basically, this means that any club wishing to appoint Jaissle before his deal expires with his ccurrent club would face a significant financial commitment. Based on the ongoing contract terms, the figure would be around €12 million.
AC Milan face major obstacle in potential Jaissle pursuit:
According to a very reliable source of ours close to Al-Ahli, the Jeddah-based side do not intend to part ways with their coach who has won them back-to-back AFC Champions League trophies, besides the Saudi Super Cup. In addition to that, meetings were held between Jaissle and Al-Ahli in order to discuss a potential contract extension and plan for a medium-term vision. The Saudi outfit is already focusing on its place in the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup. For now, the most likely outcome is that Matthias Jaissle continues his project in Saudi Arabia rather than moving on to a different role elsewhere.
