The front page headline of today's edition of 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reads this morning:
"Milan eyes Glasner. Meeting with the Austrian coach today."
Today is an important day for the future of Milan's managerial position, which has remained vacant since the dismissal of Max Allegri more than a week ago. The Rossoneri club will have its first face-to-face meeting with Oliver Glasner, who is set to leave Crystal Palace and who won the Conference League with the English club last week.
The Austrian coach will arrive at this meeting very well prepared, as he has spent the past few days carefully studying Milan's current squad together with his staff and has formed a fairly clear idea of what is needed for the future. Glasner's name is linked to that of Ralf Rangnick, who is expected to give a response to the Rossoneri by tomorrow regarding their offer for him to become the new technical director of the club.
