The Italian newspaper Il Quotidiano Sportivo headlines this morning on Milan:
"Glasner, Diavolo quality. But first Rangnick is needed."
Today a meeting is scheduled between the Rossoneri and Oliver Glasner, one of the candidates to replace the sacked Allegri on the Diavolo bench. The Austrian coach is coming off a good spell in charge of Crystal Palace, which ended last week with a Conference League victory.
Glasner’s name is strongly linked to the arrival at Milan of Ralf Rangnick as the new technical director. The German, who proposed the Austrian’s name, will have to give a response to the Diavolo in the coming hours regarding the offer to take charge of the entire technical area of the club. Among the conditions set by the current Austria national team coach is also the choice of the new manager and the new sporting director.
