Milan still lacks its full organisational structure, but the official start of the new 2026/2027 season is approaching: 1 July is not far away, and it will also mark the opening day of the summer transfer window.
Amid all this, MilanNews.it reports that the Rossoneri club has decided to set 12 July as the date for the team's pre-season gathering at Milanello.
This therefore confirms the date that had initially been indicated by Massimiliano Allegri, former Milan coach, who has now been dismissed and is on the verge of joining Napoli.
Milan's pre-season gathering will take place on 12 July at Milanello. Specifically, physical tests will be held on 12 July, while the actual team gathering will take place the following day, 13 July.
There is still more than a month to go, and the reason for setting a date later than usual is that the FIFA World Cup will now be taking place, with as many as 10 Milan players involved. Many of them will not return until towards the end of July.
Furthermore, as the club still does not have a coach or sporting directors in place, this allows some extra time to be properly prepared for the start of pre-season.
At the moment, the first friendly match scheduled for Milan is on 25 July in Glasgow against Celtic.
