It has been just under a week since Ruben Amorim became the new manager of Milan, and considering how much time was spent identifying and selecting him, the Portuguese coach is aware that no further time can be wasted.
For this reason, the former Manchester United manager has already begun to take action, making the first of many steps that will need to be taken over the course of this summer.
This morning, 'Il Corriere dello Sport' described him as a “group-oriented Amorim”, given that following the official announcement the Portuguese coach made "initial calls to players to introduce himself". Among these were also calls to Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot, with whom it may take a few more phone calls to convince them to embrace this new Milan project.
