"There is a new technical structure, 'new' only in a manner of speaking, because it is part of an internal reorganisation in which Almstad will be at the top. He is someone who has already been at Milan for several years and has certainly had influence in certain situations, as he has always been a man very close to the ownership."
"I hope it proves to be the right choice for Milan, but the club is undoubtedly starting from behind compared with many others. It is a Liverpool-style model, but that model was built over time, over many years, so I do not like judging the decision today; that would be superficial. Milan had already set up an operation with Tare and Allegri involving Saibari, the Moroccan international forward, who has done extremely well up to now and whom Bayern Munich have now effectively secured and reserved for the future."
