According to Claudio Raimondi on SportMediaset on Italia Uno, now that Gerry Cardinale has chosen the new corporate structure, AC Milan can finally begin planning for the new season and the summer transfer window.
Ruben Amorim's current priority is to convince key players such as Mike Maignan, Adrien Rabiot, and Luka Modrić to stay. Maignan is being courted by Chelsea and is asking for a serious sporting project in order to remain.
The French midfielder Rabiot is a target for Max Allegri's Napoli, but any move would only be possible after Anguissa's departure. As for the Croatian, he has not yet decided his future and will do so only after the World Cup. Meanwhile, in Spain, rumours continue about a possible return to Real Madrid in an executive role.
As for incoming transfers, Amorim wants to reshape Milan's attack and has therefore set his sights on two Portuguese forwards. One is Pedro Gonçalves, a winger for Sporting Lisbon, who could become Rafael Leão's successor if Leão leaves. The other name desired by the new Rossoneri coach is Gonçalo Ramos, who wants a leading role and is therefore expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
