Regarding the transfer market for the two Milan clubs, this morning's headline in Corriere della Sera reads:
"Inter's Paz dream also fades. Gonçalo Ramos lights up Milan."
Yesterday was an unusual Friday for the two sides, which had been experiencing completely opposite fortunes: positive for Inter and negative for Milan. However, everything turned upside down, and it was the Rossoneri who ended the day smiling after completing the signing of Gonçalo Ramos from PSG for €70 million, including a fixed fee and bonuses.
A top-class striker was Ruben Amorim's priority, and the club moved quickly to satisfy him with what has become the most expensive signing in Milan's history.
It was not such a good day for Inter or their supporters, who suffered another transfer setback after Chelsea beat them to the signing of Marco Palestra. The Nerazzurri had also been dreaming of signing Nico Paz from Real Madrid, but he instead joined Como again in a deal worth €60 million.
