AC Milan intend to be very active in the transfer market during this initial phase of negotiations, with the summer transfer window officially opening tomorrow. After completing the signing of Gonçalo Ramos, and with work also ongoing in recent hours on a deal for defender Antonio Silva, a third signing from Jorge Mendes' stable could also arrive. Mendes is becoming the central figure in AC Milan's transfer dealings, and the latest target is Barcelona midfielder Marc Casadó, born in 2003.
Milan-Casado: Jorge Mendes starts contacts with the Italian club:
Marc Casadó, the young midfielder born in 2003, has come through Barcelona's academy and has spent his entire career at the club. He has never changed teams, but this summer things could take a different turn. The young Catalan wants regular playing time and, despite being under contract until 2028, is looking to embark on a new experience.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, has already initiated the first contacts with AC Milan. The next step would be to sit down with the Barcelona hierarchy to discuss a potential deal. It remains a possibility.
