Matteo Moretto, journalist and transfer market expert, spoke about a new attacking target for AC Milan on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel:
“I would like to mention an exclusive name. It is a new name: Ethan Nwaneri. He is a 2007-born attacking midfielder from Arsenal, a very, very interesting player with great technical qualities. He is the type of player that interests Milan. There have been contacts, and Milan are making enquiries to understand Nwaneri’s situation.
It must be said that the competition is fierce, because RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga are interested in him, as are Everton and Fulham in the Premier League. Arsenal would be open to letting him leave; he is not considered untouchable, but they would like to sell him permanently while not completely losing control over the player.”

Ethan Nwaneri is the latest in a long line of young talents developed and launched by Arsenal in recent years. Before the emergence of Max Dowman, he was the youngest player ever to make an appearance and score for the Gunners.
However, with the arrival of several top attacking players over the last year and a half, the Englishman born in 2007 has found limited playing time in London. As a result, he moved on loan to Marseille from January until June.
Mikel Arteta spoke about the decision at the start of February:
“For the club and for Ethan, the right choice was to let him experience a different environment, give him minutes and responsibility, and prepare him to return here better equipped.”
His Ligue 1 experience, however, was not particularly memorable: he made only eleven appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist in a total of 422 minutes.
