Rasmus Hojlund, Napoli striker, gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, mentioning Milan in two of his answers.
Close to Milan?
“In reality, no. I spoke with the club and was looking for an opportunity. Milan have a great history, but when I heard that Napoli wanted me and Conte called me, I had no doubts.”
On Manchester United and Amorim:
"I don’t think anything specific went wrong at Manchester United. I joined a club that had a difficult season, with a lot of injuries, but we won the FA Cup and I was the team’s top scorer. Then we went through a difficult period and Amorim arrived. He is an excellent coach, but with a different style of play. The team had to adapt, and it was complicated. We all suffered. My first year was a success, the second was not. But I played in the Europa League final, and if we had won, it would have been a different story. That’s football: sometimes things go well, sometimes they don’t, but I am very happy to have played for the club I dreamed of joining as a child."
