Journalist Francesco Letizia spoke on his YouTube channel about the possibility of Milan changing their technical sponsor in the coming years, potentially moving from Puma (the current brand) to Adidas, the club’s former partner:
"One of the leading websites specialising in leaks about sports kits and sponsorships, Footy Headlines, has revealed that Adidas are ready to announce a new contract in Italy in 2027. The clues inevitably point towards Milan. Why? Inter have an agreement with Nike until 2031, while Roma and Juventus are already under contract with Adidas. Napoli and Como, meanwhile, have taken a different path by handling the production of their technical apparel themselves."
"Milan, on the other hand, have a contract with Puma that expires in 2028. The announcement could concern an early agreement, which would not be unusual given the possibility of terminating the contract one year early, especially in light of Puma’s current financial difficulties, or it could involve signing the deal in 2027 ahead of the 2028/29 season. For Milan, it would be a return to the past: the 1992/93 season shirt is a clear example of this. We will see; there is no further information at the moment. I repeat: everything seems to point towards the Rossoneri, but there is still a long way to go before we can say for certain that Milan will return to Adidas."
