Gianluca Di Marzio, within “Caffè Di Marzio”, the podcast produced in collaboration between TuttoMercatoWeb.com and Gianlucadimarzio.com, spoke about the situations at Milan and Fiorentina as follows:
“A Milan that is the product of problems and internal issues as well. There is now strong criticism directed at Giorgio Furlani, but I have to say that the atmosphere is somewhat repeating last year’s situation, when Milan lost the Coppa Italia final against Bologna and only after that defeat decided to appoint Tare and Allegri. Otherwise, it would have continued with a different plan, possibly hiring Italiano, and it is not certain that Italiano will not arrive during the upcoming summer."
"There is a difference of vision within the club that must certainly be clarified once and for all so that Milan can move forward and progress, whether they qualify for the Champions League or not, with a transparent direction and above all without internal divisions."
Di Marzio added:
"Fiorentina, on the other hand, now has the duty to plan in good time, clarifying once and for all, if possible, whether Paratici will be the sporting director for next season, regardless of the length of his contract, which is very long. Because rumours continue both about Roma and also about Milan last night, and so it is not at all clear whether, in the event of new offers, Paratici will decide to leave, and whether Fiorentina will actually allow him to go, especially after a programme of long-term vision has been built around his figure, also publicly and in the media, to construct something that instead has not been built this season.”
