The Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport headlines this morning:
"And Milan are already down by €60 million. Chukwueze, Musah and Bennacer return: many millions lost."
The newspaper explains that Samuel Chukwueze, Yunus Musah and Ismaël Bennacer will return to Milan because they will not be purchased permanently by Fulham, Atalanta and Dinamo Zagreb respectively. This means that a substantial amount of money, around €60 million, will not end up in Milan's coffers: €26 million for the Nigerian forward, €24 million for the American midfielder, and €10 million for the Algerian midfielder.
The only player who might still have a small chance of being signed permanently is Chukwueze, who has had a good season with Fulham, but only if Milan grant the English club a discount.
It is worth remembering that, thanks to the permanent transfers of Alex Jimenez, Tommaso Pobega and Lorenzo Colombo, the club has already brought in around €30 million.
