Nicolò Zaniolo is coming off an excellent season at Udinese, which is why the club has signed him permanently from Galatasaray for 10 million euros. The forward, who scored six goals and provided seven assists, is however unhappy that the Udinese club has not yet adjusted his salary, which has remained at 1.8 million euros per year. His demand is 3 million, or alternatively a two-year contract extension (until 2031) with the salary spread out over a longer period, as relayed via Milannews.it.
As reported this morning by Corriere della Sera, it is therefore not ruled out that Zaniolo could decide to leave during this summer transfer window. The former Roma player’s dream is Milan, a team he defeated at San Siro this season with a strong performance. Lazio have also considered him, but a potential dressing-room coexistence involving Zaccagni, given past gossip, would be impossible.
