During the Phil Hay Show on The Athletic, Leeds United Director of Football Victor Orta has commented on the rumors sending Udinese's star playmaker Rodrigo De Paul to the Premier League club. Here are his words:
“It was really clever movement of Rodrigo De Paul to choose the best magazine of Leeds United to put a favourite and then create this hype that he created. [Would we sign him?] I don’t know, It’s really difficult. It’s a player with good valuation."
It is worth mentioning that the 26-year-old has been reportedly followed by AC Milan for a long time. Yet, some reports claim that club's technical director Paolo Maldini has stepped back from the deal due to Mino Raiola's high financial requests.
