Simon Kjaer had to leave the pitch against Cagliari after feeling some pain at the back level which caused the Rossoneri club and fans to worry about his condition especially after Romagnoli had received a yellow card which would make him miss the game against Atalanta.
The good news, however, arrive from Milanello. The Dane experienced defender had to leave the field only as precaution, and on Saturday against Atalanta, he will be regularly present at the center of the Rossoneri's defense alongside Pierre Kalulu, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
It is certainly a little bit of a good news that Kjaer should be back, as the Milan squad is suffering from many absences due to covid-19, injuries and suspensions. It will be seen how the team will handle the situation against Gasperini's determined men.
