AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, discussed the game with the media after a difficult win at home against Torino.

Here are the words of the former Fiorentina and Inter boss to DAZN:

"I am satisfied. we checked the game. It was the fourth in ten days for many players. We only took a risk in the final. I liked the team's desire to bring home 3 points from such a complicated game. Now, my boys don't surprise me anymore."

Pioli continued:

"Torino plays good football, we worked as a team. In the second half, we lowered the pressure but we conceded few chances. It's part of our mentality, if we want to play a certain type of football we have to prepare for it during the week. Playing every three days, you prepare less and less, those who have more time take advantage of it more but the players want to play all the games well. We were up against a strong and well-placed team. I am satisfied with the performance. We had a difficult moment in the second half but we took home three important points. When we couldn't dribble I moved Leao close to Giroud to win the second balls."

On his choices for the lineup:

"The club has been good at building a strong team, I'm sorry I couldn't get Leao to catch his breath. Hope Rebic can come back soon. We must continue to have this desire and play better and better. It is not easy to play well with such opponents but we had a good game. The next matches will be difficult and challenging. Napoli? I watched Roma-Napoli but I observed Roma. I know they are very strong. Roma are a good team, it will be another difficult and stimulating match where, however, we can have our say."
