The Frosinone club, after the embarrassment related to the Popovic affair (preparing to sign Popovic on loan from Napoli but then realising they had no non-European slot available in their squad) continue to scour the market for interesting profiles.
Frosinone has reached a total agreement with Milan for the transfer of Davide Bartesaghi, an 18-year-old left-back and a graduate of the Rossoneri Primavera squad. Monza and some foreign clubs like Lausanne were also interested in the player.
According to what is told by the Italy-based website, Calciomercato.com, Davide Bartesaghi will join Frosinone in the next few hours to start his adventure under the guidance of coach Eusebio Di Francesco. The negotiation concluded with a dry loan until the end of the season because Milan did not want to grant the buyout clause, aiming to retain control over a player they rely on for the future.
Bartesaghi had renewed his contract with Milan until 2026, a concrete sign of trust from the club. Since the beginning of the season, he has been a stable part of the first team: 5 appearances in Serie A, 1 in the Coppa Italia, and 1 in the Champions League.
