AC Milan's target for the attack, Joshua Zirkzee, who scored against the Rossoneri and also their rivals, Inter, this season, has spoken to SportWeek magazine and said the following words:
"I have been fortunate that God has given me a gift: playing football well. And I don't want to waste this talent. I am convinced that God has a plan for me."
"My creativity comes from street football, where I played with friends. In Holland, it's a value: every neighborhood has a Cruijff court, like in America with basketball courts."
On his early days in Bayern Munich, Zirkzee said:
"At the Bayern Camp, they pampered us. We were a group of rowdy teenagers and it wasn't easy to manage us, but I was really happy there. Then suddenly I found myself in the locker room with players I had been using on Playstation until the day before: I was lucky to find a great person, Thomas Muller, who helped me a lot to fit into the first team. And when I saw my dad happy in the stands after my first Bundesliga goal, it was a truly fulfilling moment."
On the San Siro stadium, he said:
"San Siro is a fantastic stadium: playing well there, against Inter or Milan, is the ultimate (achievement)."
