AC Milan are experiencing a challenging season. There are many struggles this season, and the plans of the club management seems to be about strengthening different positions, such as the striker's.

Among the names that have been most mentioned are Zirkzee of Bologna and Sesko of Leipzig. Among the alternatives, there is also Santiago Gimenez, a forward born in 2001 from Feyenoord.

The Mexican centre forward, Gimenez, (whose contract with Feyenoord runs until the summer of 2027) is certainly one of the emerging players in the European scene: in the current Eredivisie season, he has scored 20 goals and provided 4 assists in 23 matches, in the Champions League, he has scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist in 4 appearances, besides putting the Dutch ahead in the Europa League playoff return leg against Roma, eventually lost on penalties.

Surely, in case of his arrival, he will need some time to adjust since he would come from a different type of league, less tactical than the Serie A. The player's value is undeniable, and in fact, the valuation that Feyenoord could make of him is surely very high, considering that Transfermarkt values him at 50 million euros, as reported by the Italian website Calciomercato.com.
