American company World Lab Technologies, which is headed by a fifty-five-year-old Moldovan businessman, called Alexandr Jucov, have assigned a mandate for the law firm to to buy Milan from the Anglo-American fund Elliott.
According to La Repubblica, Elliott's official comments on the potential purchase proposal are not filtered, but unofficially coldness was revealed.
The news of Yucov's expression of interest was disclosed through the following press release from the lawyer involved, Felice Raimondo.
"The law firms managed by the lawyers Felice Raimondo, Gianluca Frate and Dr. Mauro Gagliardi - owner of the Marriotts Legal Service - have received the mandate to manage the consultancy and out-of-court assistance activity in Italy regarding the possible acquisition of the football club AC Milan by the investment fund World Lab Technologies inc., Headed by Mr. Alexandr Jucov. WLT is a fund with a very significant economic capacity that deals with investing in renewable energy, infrastructure, technology and sport. Outside Italy it is entrusted to the Baker McKenzie firm, further details will be provided later, in the event that Mr. Jucov reaches an agreement in principle with the Elliott fund. No further statements will be made by the Raimondo-Frate-Marriotts law firms".
It is worth mentioning that in September, WLT had expressed an interest in the purchase of Tik Tok, sending ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns the social network, an alleged offer of 50 billion dollars.
