Jordan Henderson, author of the third goal against AC Milan in the Champions League fixture last night, spoke during the press conference about the game:
"It was a great match. A bit like a roller coaster, but I'm sure it was nice to watch as a neutral fan. It was great to have the fans back at Anfield on European nights. I think for most of the game our performance was at a high level, obviously we had a moment of decline at the end of the first half, the last 10-15 minutes, when we were not on track. We were a bit superficial and we were punished with two goals."
On the attitude at the half-time:
"We were a little disappointed that we were at a disadvantage, but we analyzed some details and what could have helped us in the second half. The boys went out and made a great second half, managing to win. We must be very happy."
On AC Milan:
"We have to give credit to them. They are a good team, good players and when you are not on track at one point in the match, you get punished at this level and they did it. But I think the lads reacted very well in the second half… We went ahead, fought and managed to find a couple of goals to win the match."
