As usual, La Gazzetta dello Sport spoke about the matches of matchday 5 and discussed the referees' decisions.
In general, Ivano Pezzuto, who directed the Milan-Venezia clash yesterday at the San Siro stadium, did not have problems.
The newspaper wrote that there were two interesting occasions where Pezzuto could have intervened in a better way, however.
According to the paper, Sandro Tonali should have received a yellow card around the 64th minute because he simulated a foul in the opponent's area.
The second occasion, though, was a corner kick not granted to Venezia around the 72nd minute. Alexis Saelemaekers made the last touch on Milnaro's attempt. Neither the referee nor the linesman appeared to notice it.
