AC Milan must reinforce their midfield, especially in view of the uncertainty that is Franck Kessié's situation.
The number 79 of the Rossoneri team has an expiring contract at the end of the season and it seems like a very difficul situation for the club board to satisfy the player's financial requests in order to extend his stay.
AC Milan would like to keep the player, but on their own terms as they cannot afford to overspend. That is why, a sale for the midfielder is possible in January.
In this regard, Milan managers could strike a deal with former Milan player, coach and director Leonardo who is currently at PSG. In fact, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara could offer Kessié's card in January to PSG and in return, they would receive Paredes' services.
AC Milan are aware of PSG's great interest in their midfielder and that is why they can try to leverage some sort of deal allowing them to land a midfielder whom they appreciate.
On the other hand, Juventus and Inter have long been linked with Paredes but AC Milan could accelerate soon and have the advantage by offering Kessié in January, reports Calciomercatonews.com.
The Argentinian 27-year-old midfielder, Leandro Paredes, who has a contract running until June 2023, has been playing with the French side Paris Saint-Germain since January 2019. That is when they signed him from Russian club Zenit Saint. Petersburg for a fee rumoured to be around 40 million euros.
Paredes has a considerable experience and is familiar with Italian football because he played for Chievo Verona, AS Roma and Empoli in earlier years in his career.
