AC Milan have been enjoying an excellent run of form in the league and a good part of it is due to the hard work of some key players, including Simon Kjaer.
The experienced Dane defender has been a pillar for Stefano Pioli as he offers his experience and leadership to help the team grow.
Now, the former Atalanta player has renewed his contract finally, as per the official statement of the club:
"AC Milan are delighted to announce that Simon Thorup Kjær has extended his contract with the Club until 30 June 2024."
"Simon, who is an exemplary professional on and off the pitch, captain of Denmark and on the 30-man shortlist for the 2021 Ballon d'Or, joined the Rossoneri in January 2020, making his debut against Spal in the Coppa Italia. In total, the Dane has made 66 appearances and scored one goal, which came against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Now, Kjær and AC Milan will be continuing their journey together."
