AC Milan club announced the contract extension of Simon Kjaer yesterday. The former Sevilla and Atalanta defender agreed to put pen to paper on a deal that sees his stay at Milanello extended until June 2024.
The Dane centre-back is a very important player for Stefano Pioli and his stay was a fundamental move for the Rossoneri in order to keep the balance and strength of the squad.
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com today, the salary of the 32-year-old player, Simon Kjaer, has seen a slight improvement. In fact, his previous yearly wage at the club was 1.2 million euros. Now, thanks to the new deal, he is set to earn 1.5 million euros net per year plus bonuses.
It is a well-deserved move for the player who was shorlisted among the 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or award.
