Atlético Madrid midfield star, Rodrigo De Paul, who signed for the Spanish team this summer coming from Serie A side Udinese, has granted an interview to the microphones of Marca as he talked about facing AC Milan:
"I know Milan very well, that is the truth. I played against them many times already. All the games so far have been like the finals, because we wanted to stay at the top in the Champions League… it's true that it's a very important game. We want to collect the three points tonight. I have confidence in my teammates, I face this match calmly."
Did coach Diego Simeone as you about AC Milan?
"No, he didn't ask me. He is already telling us about the clubs we meet, how to play and where to hurt them."
De Paul on the importance of the Champions League:
"This team has to go game after game. Thinking only about the Champions League would mean neglecting the other competitions. We know it's a beautiful competition, but it would be a mistake to think beyond tonight's game."
On the hypothesis of missing qualification:
"I don't think about it because I see tranquility and confidence in my teammates. There are two games left and the Champions League is very dynamic, many things happen. We want to win and depend on ourselves. The goal is to go game by game."
