La Gazzetta dello Sport focused a lot on the work done by the AC Milan club management and Elliott in particular in the last few years to get the Rossoneri back on track. The 2021/22 budget approved by the Rossoneri Club's Board of Directors (-66.5 million) signals a continuous decrease in losses which, from 194.6 million in 2019/20, have fallen by approximately 130 million euros.
RedBird chief, Gerry Cardinale, wants to continue in this path and get AC Milan to the next level in all aspects, especially the financial one since it is a pillar for the club's growth. He sees Milan as a "sleeping giant" and he intends to make the red and black team grow a lot more on and off the pitch.
