AC Milan are on the hunt for promising young players with the potential to become stars, and the club's scouting department has identified two such talents.

Paolo Maldini has his sights set on Noah Okafor and Maurits Kjaergaard, both of whom possess impressive qualities. According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have initiated early discussions with Okafor, a member of the 2000 cohort who is keen to depart from RB Salzburg and join a bigger club. Despite the player's appreciation of the Rossoneri destination, RB Salzburg are demanding a hefty sum of around 35 million euros, which could make the deal difficult. However, AC Milan could really make Okafor a top target for the upcoming transfer window.
Another potential signing for Milan is Okafor's teammate Kjaergaard, who is a central midfielder and a winger and has cited Kakà as his role model. Kjaergaard who is 19 years old, was the second-youngest scorer in the Champions League last year, just behind Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham.
AC Milan had expressed interest in the player a few years ago and are now closely monitoring his development. Salzburg, however, are not keen to part with the young talent, and the Rossoneri may need to shell out at least €15m to secure his signature. It's a hefty price tag, but one that could have been much lower if Italian clubs hadn't turned down the opportunity to sign him when he was younger, as they now regret not taking advantage of the chance.
