Lately, there have been rumours in Italy that the AC Milan club owner, Gerry Cardinale, has been looking for new investors. In fact, as per Tuttosport yesterday, the RedBird founder is looking for partners to replace Elliott.
According to what is reported by the Italian newpspaer La Repubblica today, there are confirmations on these rumours: a corporate reshuffle is being studied, American rumors are also emerging: Elliott's exit in 2024 is possible because the classic term limit for a fund's stay (since 2019) would have now been exceeded.
RedBird's negotiation with Gerry Cardinale and a potential Middle Eastern partner aims to pay the Singer family's fund the 550 million euros plus interest from the massive loan obtained in August 2022.
