AC Milan club management are in the market for some reinforcements in January. But, there are also plans for the summer transfer window.
It is plausible, therefore, that the Rossoneri in the upcoming summer transfer market will also acquire a couple of forwards. One of these, however, will be a top player, writes Pianeta Milan.
One of those players who could allow the Rossoneri to make a qualitative leap. With the proceeds from the permanent transfers of Charles De Ketelaere to Atalanta (around 22 million euros), Junior Messias to Genoa (2.5 million euros), Rade Krunić to Fenerbahçe (4.5 million euros), and Alexis Saelemaekers to Bologna (10 million euros), all net of bonuses, there will be no need for the sale of a key player from the squad.
With a budget of around 40 million euros, Milan will choose its new striker among Joshua Zirkzee (Bologna's 22-year-old Dutchman), Benjamin Šeško (22-year-old player from Slovenia playing for RB Leipzig), and Jonathan David (24-year-old Canada international of Lille).
Joshua Zirkzee could be Milan's acquisition in the summer if the new coach is Thiago Motta, but keep an eye on the Slovenian and the Canadian as well. The RB Leipzig center-forward is Moncada's favourite, while the one from Lille can arrive at very favourable economic conditions.
