The Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport confirmed AC Milan's interest in Trevoh Chalobah, the Chelsea defender. In fact, it seems that the Italians are in pole position for the 24-year-old player.
He could arrive with a formula similar to Fikayo Tomori's: a loan with the option to buy. The Rossoneri's spotlight on Lilian Brassier, however, has not yet faded, but Brest has raised its demands in the past few weeks, partly due to the interest of other European clubs in the defender.
Geoffrey Moncada, Milan's technical director, discussed the situation two nights ago, suggesting that the club is also making moves behind the scenes with other names not being mentioned by the media (read his words here).
Clément Lenglet, however, remains on AC Milan's shortlist, a name that had already circulated in the middle of autumn: the most complicated issue to resolve at the moment concerns Aston Villa, which must decide whether to terminate the loan agreement with Barcelona or not. This is especially because Lenglet has recently started playing regularly in the Premier League.
