Jan-Carlo Simic continues to grow at Milan. From his initial outings with Ignazio Abate's Primavera, which had been remarkable, to his call-up to the first team and the goal on his debut against Monza at San Siro... Now, a new milestone awaits him and it is the call-up for the senior Serbian national team.
As reported by the Serbian daily newspaper Kurir, the young centre-back will pick up the phone to talk to head coach Dragan Stojkovic. The scenario is that of the March friendlies, given the national team's already confirmed qualification for EURO 2024. The Serbian national team will play against Russia on March 21st, and Cyprus on March 25.
