Gianluca Di Marzio, transfer market expert, spoke as follows on Caffè Di Marzio, a transfer market podcast created in collaboration between the journalist himself and TuttoMercatoWeb, about AC Milan’s transfer market and, more generally, Italian clubs, focusing on Bayern Munich players who are surplus to requirements and could potentially be useful for Milan:
“In Bayern, among the players who have not started from the beginning, there is Kim, whom many Italian clubs would like: Inter had considered him, Juventus had also thought about him. We will see whether there will be the right opportunity in a few months to bring Kim back to Italy."
"And then there is Nicolas Jackson, who at Bayern was brought in on loan under rather particular conditions last year, with a loan that was quite expensive, over €15 million, and a very high option to buy, intended to act as Kane’s backup."
"Now he will return to Chelsea at the end of the loan, Bayern will not sign him permanently, and his agents are also discussing him with Italian clubs. But at the moment there are no conditions to take him on loan; Chelsea’s asking price is €50 million. Today, spending €50 million on Nicolas Jackson, I believe, is not in Juventus’s plans, and even less so in Milan’s, so we will have to wait until the market actually opens.”
