Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist, has provided an update on AC Milan's interest in Benoit Badiashile. In recent weeks, the Rossoneri club has once again been linked with the Chelsea center-back. This would mark a renewed interest, as the club management had previously followed him during the last transfer windows.
The journalist penned an editorial on Daily Briefing for Caught Offside, offering the latest updates on the Rossoneri's interest.
"There are updates again about AC Milan targeting Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile. Milan was interested in January, but there is still no decision on what they will do in the summer. It's still early for Milan's summer plans, apart from the already made decision to sign a new striker. Chelsea also hasn't made any decision on Badiashile for now. We have to wait until summer for this; nothing is really happening right now", as relayed via Pianeta Milan.
The 23-year-old centre-back from France has made 13 appearances so far this season. He also one goal and one assist to his name from his position with 977 minutes played in total between Premier League (9), FA Cup, and EFL Cup.
