Regarding the upcoming transfer market moves by the Rossoneri management, journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio shared the following update on Milan’s transfer situation on Sky Calciomercato - L'Originale, focusing on Marcus Rashford, a target for the Rossoneri’s attack during this winter transfer window:

"Okafor has moved to Leipzig on loan with an option to buy. Now Milan has other needs in attack, and the name we've been talking about for some time is Rashford. The player has shown openness to Milan but has not yet made a definitive decision. Milan will have to wait at least until midweek to decide whether to push forward or shift to another attacking target. It's important to note that Milan can sign only one non-EU player, which includes British players."
Di Marzio continued to talk about Milan's situation with Rashford and Walker:
"Milan is also interested in City's Walker, but Rashford and Walker cannot join together. The English full-back would be an alternative to the Man Utd forward."
