Kerim Alajbegović, barring surprises, will play in Serie A next year, writes Milan News. Italy is ready to welcome one of its tormentors, one of those who led Bosnia and Herzegovina to the North American World Cup, leaving the Azzurri at home for the third consecutive edition.
The 2007-born talent has ended up on the shortlist of virtually all top Italian clubs, including Milan. According to Corriere dello Sport, Max Allegri appreciates the player’s profile and he could be the replacement for Nkunku if the Frenchman is sold.
The “problem” for the Rossoneri, however, is that Roma have moved ahead. As CorSport continues, the Giallorossi have already hosted the player’s father in Trigoria, accompanied by Miralem Pjanić, who is acting as an intermediary in the transfer. The Rome-based club expects a response by May, also because they would like to secure the player before the World Cup, which could increase his value.
Currently on loan at Salzburg, Alajbegović will return to Bayer Leverkusen, but only briefly: he wants to leave. The estimated transfer fee is €25–30 million.
