After the protest during the final league match against Cagliari and after filling Milan with banners, the AC Milan supporters' campaign could soon reach the United States, which is Gerry Cardinale's home base. Under consideration is the idea of purchasing advertising space in Times Square, New York, to display a very clear message against the Rossoneri owner: "Save AC Milan – Cardinale out". In addition, advertising space may also be purchased in some major American media outlets.
Luca Serafini wrote on Instagram:
"The idea came from Guido, president of the Milan Club Valle Telesina (Benevento), who approached Milancommunity. They directed him towards discussions with AIMC, the Curva Sud, Old Clan, and the Milan Club New York. Further contacts are ongoing both in Italy and overseas. The proposal, enthusiastically welcomed by all parties involved, is to purchase video advertising space on the giant screens of Times Square, in the heart of Manhattan, to display the message 'Save AC Milan – Cardinale out'. The acquisition of advertising space in other American media outlets is also being considered, including CBS and The New York Times."
